WNYC’s Arun Venugopal talks with esteemed female theater directors, including Tony Award-winner Garry Hynes, Leah C. Gardiner and Tamilla Woodard, about their path and obstacles to success, and the way forward to a more equitable theater community. Additionally, director Rachel Flynn will be presenting music from Dust and Shadow, a new musical in development about Sherlock Holmes and Jack The Ripper.
