There’s nothing more terrifying than classical music on Halloween: all of the composers are DEAD!! Join us for a night of dark beer, dark music and dark tales from the classical macabre. Decomposing composers! Pacts with the devil! And who stole Papa Haydn’s head?!
Our friends at Kings County Brewers Collective are providing the beers – yum!
Very special musical guests include harpist Bridget Kibbey; pianist Lara Downes; vocalist Theo Bleckmann; bass-baritone Matthew Curran from Opera on Tap; and the Attacca String Quartet. WQXR’s Matt Abramovitz hosts. Costumes encouraged!
