The award-winning guitarist Miloš joined us for an intimate concert and conversation on July 14, 2014, performing favorites from the Spanish classical guitar repertoire.
Born in Montenegro, Miloš Karadaglic came to international attention in 2011 with his debut album Mediterráneo. Within months of its release, it topped classical charts around the world and earned him Gramophone’s prestigious Young Artist of the Year Award.
In his only New York appearance of the season, Miloš performed favorites by Granados, Rodrigo and de Falla to celebrate the U.S. release of his latest album, Aranjuez. The evening was presented by WQXR and hosted by David Garland.
