Eric Holder and Ilana Glazer in Conversation

The Greene Space Presents

Originally Aired: Wednesday, June 21, 2023

Overview

Drawing voting distinct lines to give advantage to the party already holding power is a political tactic that goes all the way back to the elections of 1788. But four years after the Supreme Court decided that partisan gerrymandering cannot be challenged in federal court, its use has become more rampant than ever before and therefore destructive to our fundamental rights as voters.

Join us as Ilana Glazer chats with Attorney General Eric Holder to discuss the work his organization The National Democratic Redistricting Committee is doing to raise awareness of current redistricting, shift balances of power, and empower the public to fight for our democracy ahead of the 2024 election cycle.
