WQXR's Classical Beer Jam
It was all about Bach, Beethoven, Brahms and beer in WQXR’s first ever Classical Beer Jam, held live in The Greene Space on June 19, 2015.
While our audience glugged artisinal, historic craft beers that the Three B’s would have imbibed, they heard commentary by experts such Matthias Neidhart of B United International and live music written by the great composers. The event was hosted by WQXR’s Matt Abramovitz and beers were made especially for the event by Folksbier Brewery in Brooklyn and Bridge and Tunnel Brewery in Queens.
