Eleven undiscovered musical acts from the Bronx competed during a live concert on April 4, 2014. Then, voters whittled those down to their top five bands.
Now, after a week of voting, there’s only one act standing!
The 2014 Bronx representative in our Battle of the Boroughs is…Royal Khaoz! The reggae fusion group moves on to the final showdown, the Ultimate Battle of the Boroughs on June 27. They’ll compete against the other borough winners — including Manhattan’s 5j Barrow and Queen’s Annika — for bragging rights and prizes, including a showcase performance at the world famous Apollo Theater Amateur Night.
