Start the weekend energized by an inspiring performance by six-time Grammy Award-winning pianist, composer and founder of the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra Arturo O’Farrill, joining us live from his home via video stream and accompanied by his son and fellow composer, trumpeter Adam O’Farrill, hosted by New Sounds’ John Schaefer
They’ll perform their own compositions and improvisations, as well as pieces by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Carla Bley and Chico O’Farrill. Plus, Arturo talks about his new album Four Questions, including a new collaboration with Dr. Cornel West.
