Patrik Henry Bass speaks with writers influenced by the Harlem Renaissance icon Zora Neale Hurston including Emily Raboteau (Searching for Zion),  Valerie Wilson Wesley (former Executive Editor of Essence magazine), Elizabeth Nunez (co-founder of the National Black Writer’s Conference) with performances by award-winning songstress Maya Azucena.
