The Kila Quartet came together at the 2018 Perlman Music Program (PMP) Chamber Music Workshop and enjoys the privilege of coaching with Roger Tapping at The Juilliard School. Most recently, the quartet was invited to the 2019 PMP Chamber Music Workshop as a pre-formed ensemble, working closely with Joel Krosnick, Merry Peckham and Donald Weilerstein. They have been heard and seen in masterclasses at the 2019 Robert Mann String Quartet Institute, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and at the Wednesdays at One series in Alice Tully Hall. The quartet recently had the opportunity to give educational performances at elementary schools in Long Island, NY and looks forward to continuing these projects in Florida this spring.
