Overview

Daniel Carlton
Actor, director, teaching artist and professional storyteller whose work has appeared on New York, National, and international stages, Daniel Carlton uses the performing arts to deliver powerful messages on African American history, health and sex education, STD prevention, conflict resolution, and the search of finding one’s poetic voice.

The Verve Pipe
Formed in 1992 in East Lansing, Michigan, the Verve Pipe gained notoriety for their energetic performances, building a dedicated fan base in the process. In a departure from the alternative rock that began their career, they were asked to contribute a song to a children’s music compilation album. The success of this of this endeavor spurred the band to record an entire album of family-friendly material, The Family Album, which consists of family-oriented songs celebrating everything from the joys of cereal to bedtime.
