The Sarah Awards Ceremony

Friday April 1 2016 • 6:00pm - 6:00pm ET
In-person event

Overview

Join us for the first annual Sarah Awards Ceremony, where we will celebrate and reward the best audio fiction from around the world. The evening will include live storytelling by master of ceremonies Glynn Washington of Snap Judgment, and a performance by Radiotopia’s The Heart.

The Sarah Lawrence International Audio Fiction Awards (aka “The Sarah Awards”) is a new initiative launched by Sarah Lawrence College through its renowned Writing Program. It transforms the audio landscape and encourages everyone: writers, audio producers, sound artists, and musicians to re-think what is possible in the radio drama format.

It’s time for audio fiction to have its own red carpet.
