Overview

Pull up a seat in our intimate studio space and see a live broadcast of WNYC’s Peabody Award-winning radio show.

Host Brian Lehrer will take questions from the audience and welcome guests on stage to talk about what matters most now in local and national politics, our own communities and our lives.

Trump Inc. on Impeachment

Andrea Bernstein, senior editor for politics and policy for WNYC News and co-host of the podcast Trump, Inc., and Ilya Marritz, WNYC reporter and co-host of the Trump, Inc. podcast at WNYC, talk about the latest in their investigations and the impeachment hearings.

#PriceCheckNYC

WNYC, in partnership with Gothamist and Clear Health Costs, offers a new community health sharing tool which will give listeners a chance to compare the costs of their medical procedures. Jeanne Pinder, founder and CEO of Clear Health Costs, and Caroline Lewis, lead reporter of Price Check NYC, regular contributor to Gothamist, break down how it works and early findings.

Music of the 2010s

John Schaefer, WNYC host of New Sounds and Soundcheck, talks about the best music of the 2010s — plus how the way we listened to music changed in the past decade.

‘A Bright Room’ for the Trump Era

Tony Kushner, award-winning playwright, wrote his play A Bright Room Called Day when Ronald Reagan was president and he saw links between the 1980s and Weimar Germany.  He has updated the play for a new era and is joined by Nikki M. James, the Tony Award-winning actress now starring in A Bright Room Called Day, to talk about the Public Theater’s new production.
