Overview

Join us for a live broadcast of Brian Lehrer’s Peabody Award-winning radio show in which he’ll take questions from callers and the audience at The Greene Space. 

Guests include:

New York State Senators Liz Krueger (D-Manhattan, 28th district), sponsor of the Reproductive Health Act, and chair of the Senate Finance Committee, and John Liu (D 11, Queens).

Andy Byford, president of New York City Transit.

Ian Bremmer, president of Eurasia Group and GZERO Media, host of the public television weekly show, GZERO World, and the author of Us vs. Them: The Failure of Globalism (Portfolio, 2018). He’ll talk about the latest international news and the evolving role of the U.S. in global affairs.

Arturo O’Farrill, jazz pianist, composer, and director for the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra. He’ll talk about his upcoming series of performances in The Greene Space, “Radical Acts & Musical Deviancy,” exploring the intersections of Afrobeat and Latin Jazz, high and pop culture and social justice and music.
