Overview
Join us as we kick off our third annual collaboration with The Studio Museum in Harlem’s Artist-in-Residence program with an evening of celebration and conversation about art, creativity, and representation.
Since 1968, the museum has earned recognition for its catalytic role in advancing the work of visual artists of African and Latino descent through its Artist–in–Residence program. The program has supported over one hundred graduates who have gone on to highly regarded careers.
Tonight, we celebrate the work of the current group of young artists with two of the artists: Andy Robert and Julia Phillips. They’ll be joined by program alumni Elia Alba, Lauren Kelley and Wardell Milan. Hosted by WNYC’s Rebecca Carroll.
