Three years ago, Mike Birbiglia chronicled his hilarious – and harrowing – struggle with a sleep disorder in the off-Broadway play “Sleepwalk With Me.” It spawned a book and appearances on the public radio show “This American Life” and Comedy Central. Now, Birbiglia is set to return to the New York stage for his new “My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend.” Before the show’s first preview tonight, he tells a live audience in The Greene Space about exploring the awkward side of romance.
