Gail Anderson is a New York-based designer, writer and educator. She is a partner, with Joe Newton, at Anderson Newton Design. She is a National Design Award winner, the recipient of the 2008 Lifetime Achievement Medal from the AIGA, the 2009 Richard Gangel art direction award from the Society of Illustrators and has lectured about design (and her bottle cap collection) at organizations and conferences around the world.
Eddie Opara began his career as a designer at ATG and Imaginary Forces and worked as a senior designer/art director at 2×4 before establishing his own studio, The Map Office, in 2005. He joined Pentagram’s New York office as partner in 2010. He is a member of the distinguished design society, Alliance Graphique Internationale, and was named one of Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business in 2012 and 2014, and was featured in Ebony Magazine’s Power 100 list.
Catt Small is a product designer, game maker, and front-end web developer. She makes awesome things at Etsy. She has done design work for companies of all sizes including SoundCloud, Bedrocket, and Nasdaq. She joined Rosenfeld Media’s editorial board in 2018. Catt also makes video games with Brooklyn Gamery, writes about professional development, and draws comics about interpersonal experiences of all kinds.
