Podcast Mixtape: ‘Puck Soup’ Live

Podcast Mixtape

Monday December 11 2017 • 7:00pm - 8:30pm ET
In-person event

Overview

Join Greg Wyshynski of ESPN and Dave Lozo of Vice Sports for a live taping of their hockey podcast, in the sense that they talk about hockey, both on the ice and about fan culture. That’s the “puck.”

It’s also a podcast about movies, TV, fast food, life lessons and general idiocy. That’s the “soup.”

They’ll sit down with special guest Harrison Browne of the National Women’s Hockey League, one of the first openly transgender athletes in professional sports, to talk about his journey through hockey.

We’ll also hand out some NHL awards and talk about expansion to Seattle. We’ll have a battle of listeners in The Roster Game, where they name specific players until one runs out. And since it’s the holiday season, we’ll put one good Christmas song on top of the tree and then throw one bad one onto the Yule Log.

Plus there will be games, prizes and lots of laughs!

About Podcast Mixtape

This is a demo, a rough draft, a sample. Monday nights in The Greene Space we swap studio postproduction for real-time ruckus with tapings of your favorite podcasts, sneaky peeks of unreleased pilots and works-in-progress, conversations with the people who make great tape, and audio experiments of all kinds. Take the earbuds out, grab a drink, and get live with your fellow listeners.
