Part of Hodgepod: WNYC Studios' live podcast taping series

Wednesday January 20 2016 • 7:00pm - 8:30pm ET
In-person event

Manoush Zomorodi

Overview

This time the team debuts their latest interactive project, “Infomagical,” an audience engagement and podcast series that looks at the consequences of FOMO (fear of missing out) and information overload on our brains, our relationships and our ability to generate new ideas.

Through interactive challenges and interviews with experts, “Infomagical” will help participants experiment with ways to regulate their information diet, find focus and discover the magic of clearer thinking.

Join host Manoush Zomorodi and her special guests for a lively, fun and interactive kick-off to “Infomagical.” She’ll be joined by cognitive neuroscientist Daphna Shohamy, an associate professor of psychology at Columbia University, and Magician Escape Artist Adam Cardone. Be prepared to do some self-experimentation that will get you questioning your gadgets, your habits, and your brain.

Please note: A live video stream will not be available for this event. Archive video will be posted at a later date.
