Late Night Whenever with Julie Goldman and Franchesca Ramsey

Tuesday July 10 2018 • 9:00pm - 10:15pm ET
In-person event

Overview

Put your hands together for host Michelle Buteau, with special guests Julie Goldman and Franchesca Ramsey!

The comedian and unofficial “3rd Dope Queen” has a new podcast from WNYC Studios — and you can see it taped live.

In the great tradition of late night, but with Michelle’s signature comedy and warmth, Late Night Whenever features celebrity interviews, hilarious monologues and music from Michelle’s BFF Rob Lewis, producer to stars like Christina Aguilera and Patti LaBelle.

Get ready for the no-budget Oprah experience as Michelle turns the mic on her audience. She’ll keep you on your toes like Misty Copeland at the Met!

On this show:

Julie Goldman is a comedian who has made appearances on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, Bravo’s The People’s Couch, LOGO’s Big Gay Sketch Show, and Skit Happens. She is also a co-host of the podcast Dumb Gay Politics with Julie & Brandy.

Franchesca Ramsey is an actress, writer, comedienne, producer, and activist, who has appeared on Broad City and Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell. After gaining fame from her viral YouTube video “Shit White Girls Say to Black Girls,” Ramsey wrote and appeared on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. Recently she published her memoir Well, That Escalated Quickly: Memoirs and Mistakes of an Accidental Activist and executive produced the digital series “Franchesca,” which premiered at Sundance Film Festival. Currently Ramsey hosts the web series MTV Decoded and her YouTube channel @Chescalocs, which focuses on her passion for natural hair care, fashion and beauty.
