Overview
Christine Bruno (actor/advocate), Lyssette Horne (artist/poet/photographer), Anthony Papa (artist/writer/advocate) and Nelson Rivas (painter) will discuss the ideas behind their work, and draw upon their experiences among disabled, homeless, undocumented and incarcerated individuals to explore the question, “How do we open peoples’ eyes if they refuse to see us?” Moderated by Vanessa Chakour (artist/athlete/activist).
