Overview

The Greene Space at WNYC joins the Architecture & Design Film Festival in celebrating the unique creative spirit that drives architecture and design.

Tonight we get a sneak preview of two short films about social responsibility design for underserved communities14+ Foundation, directed by Jenna Elizabeth, a film about the Chipakata Children’s Academy in Zambia; and Designed to Heal a Mass Design project of a beautiful cholera clinic in Haiti. 

The screenings will be introduced by ADFF festival director Kyle Bergman. A talkback will follow, with John Hockenberry, host of The Takeaway, and guest Susan T. Rodriguez, who is a design partner in Ennead Architects, architect of the school in Zambia and Alan Ricks, Mass Design co-founder.
