Craft Beer Jam 2013: The Best Beers You’ve Never Tasted

Wednesday July 10 2013 • 7:00pm - 8:30pm ET
In-person event

Overview

After the panel concludes, you’ll be drinking to a soundtrack of live music by mainstays of the Brooklyn Country music scene, The Flanks. Their barroom-friendly, original, lyric-driven music draws on old-time, jug band, pre-war blues, bluegrass and honky-tonk.

We’ll be pouring tastes of at least four different beers, including Lagunitas, with snacks from Chef Tommy Harder of Blind Tiger Ale House, Mug’s Ale House, East Village Meat Market, and Jimmy’s No. 43. Some lucky audience members will have a chance to taste selections from the panelists’ stashes of hard-to-get brews, too. Our limited tasting beers may include bottles of The Alchemist’s Heady Topper IPA, Founders’ Kentucky Bourbon Stout, Ballast Point’s Sculpin IPA, as well as brews from Allagash, Three Floyds, Surly, Firestone Walker, and Green Flash.
