Overview

Gather ’round The Greene Space for a performance of Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol: A Radio Drama.  A Christmas Carol, a novella by English author Charles Dickens tells the story  of sour and stingy Ebenezer Scrooge, played by F. Murray Abraham, and his transformation after the supernatural visits of Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. These roles and more will be played by our beloved WNYC and WQXR radio hosts.  The novella has stood the test of time and is a timeless classic that still touches the hearts of audiences worldwide. A Christmas Carol, has never been out of print, and has been adapted to film, opera, and—now–radio.
