Overview
Bite into a hot slice of NYC life every first Friday of the month at 44 Charlton — the world’s first and only variety show smashing together the gutsiest comedy, music, dance, theater, spoken word, and genre-bending performances on a single stage, hosted by the sometimes salty, always sexy Julian Fleisher.
On the show: a performance by actor/singer Martha Plimpton with pianist Dan Lipton; The New York City Labor Chorus, whose repertoire combines the power and culture of union music with gospel, jazz, classical and folk traditions; mentalist Jason Suran; writer/performer Erin Markey, joined by their “Wet Food” bandmates Emily Bate, Mike Marcinowski and Chenda Cope; and an appearance by Daniel Nardicio, co-owner of Club Cumming.
