Actor, writer and filmmaker John Turturro is best known for his roles in films such as Do the Right Thing and The Big Lebowski. He most recently won praise for his portrayal of lawyer John Stone in the popular HBO series, The Night Of.
He joined Alec in front of a live audience at The Greene Space at WNYC for a taping of Here’s The Thing. They talked about his career and the relationships and decisions that have influenced his work over the years – including the time he nearly dropped acting in favor of medical school, and what motivated him to continue pursuing his craft.
