Overview
Celebrate the final week of Black History Month with an enticing concert led by The Harlem Chamber Players, fresh off their acclaimed “To America” performance in Greenwood Cemetery. With Florence Price Quartet in G Major serving as an anchor, the quartet performs more recent compositions by Trevor Weston, George Walker, Jessie Montgomery and Carlos Simon. WQXR’s Terrance McKnight also hosts the Harlem Chamber Players’ Liz Player (Founder & Artistic Director) and Amadi Azikiwe (Community Engagement Director), and composer Trevor Weston in conversation.
