Josh Gondelman is a writer and comedian who incubated in Boston before moving to New York City, where he currently lives and works as a writer and producer for Desus & Mero on Showtime. Previously, he spent five years at Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, first as a web producer and then as a staff writer. He’s also the author of the essay collection Nice Try: Stories of Best Intentions and Mixed Results published September 2019 by Harper Perennial. In 2016, he made his late night standup debut on Conan (TBS), and he has also performed on Late Night With Seth Meyers (NBC) and The Late Late Show with James Corden (CBS).

Hannah Gill, a 22-year-old vocalist & lyricist, grew up on the eastern shore of Maryland, listening to and being influenced by the likes of Nina Simone, The Beatles, and Otis Redding.  She released her sophomore EP, “Lost In Words”, in Spring 2018, a five-song sampler showcasing her booming voice and soulful songwriting.  She has been covered by The New York Times, Teen Vogue and NPR amongst others, has toured nationally with her band, “The Hours”, and her original music videos have garnered over 1M+ YouTube views.  Hannah also tours as a guest singer with “Post Modern Jukebox”, the rotating jazz music collective and has played at legendary venues like Sydney Opera House in Australia, the Olympia In Paris, and the Monte Carlo Jazz Festival. Her PMJ videos have exceeded 4.5M views, and her cover of “Take Me To Church” had Hozier saying, “Her ability is beyond her years”.  When not on tour with PMJ or for her solo material, you can catch her singing up a storm in New York City. Hannah will be releasing her debut solo album in 2020.

Friends Who Folk is a comedy folk duo featuring Ned Riseley and Rachel Wenitsky. They perform all over New York at places like Ars Nova, UCB, The Bell House, and Union Hall, where they host a regular show. Their work has been featured in The New Yorker, Vulture, Glamour, Paste, and on Studio 360. Paste called them “a crazy insanely madly unbelievably inconceivably unthinkably good faux-folk band.” Their self-titled album is available to buy/stream online.

Jes Tom (they/them) is a New York based actor, writer, and weird queer stand up comic, gleefully providing the nonbinary queer Asian American radical cyborg perspective that everyone never knew they wanted. As a comic, Jes has shared stages with Awkwafina, Kate Bornstein, Aparna Nancherla, and Rosie O’Donnell. As an actor, they appeared in the Amazon short film “Soojung Dreams of Fiji” (AAIFF “Audience Award”) and played the lead in “Anatomy of an Orchid” dir. Sonja O’Hara (Independent Magazine’s “10 Filmmakers to Watch”). Their writing has been published by Reductress, By Shondaland, and Condé Nast’s Them. In collaboration with fellow comedian Chewy May, Jes Tom wrote, co-directed, and starred in the viral video “Ghost In The Shell PSA,” which received praise on platforms such as Buzzfeed, Upworthy, Nextshark, iO9, and Perez Hilton. Jes has been featured in Forbes, NowThis, GO Magazine, Splitsider, and the Fader, and were named one of TimeOut New York‘s “LGBTQ POC Comedians We’re Obsessed With.” Jes was a 2018 StandUp NBC semifinalist.
